Unhappy man pages not displayed


hey there!!!
when i input man <cmd>.....it's saying formatting pages....n then it is displaying blank page......plz help!!!!thanx in advance

What distro are you using, how did you install, what environment
(full screen console, KDE with konsole, fluxbox with rxvt, ...)
are you having that problem in?

hmmmm.....am using rhel4,gnome environment and i installed it on VMWare using ISO image

And the install was a "complete" installation? What happens
when you switch to a full-screen console (e.g., press Ctrl+Alt+F1)
and log in there? Do you get a man-page displayed, to you get
any errors at all?

it ain't displaying there too....yeah it was a complete insltallation

What happens when you try to pipe the man-page into less?

E.g.,

this ain't working too.......man cmd just shows blank page
but if i type info <cmd> then it displays..why so????
