Angry making mandrake cdrom's


I really need help making installation cdrom's for mandrake 9.1.

What files do i put on each cd????

would it be easier to make floppies?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need the 3 iso images burnt as images on a CD-R, or you can order some cheap pre-burnt CDs.

You didn't install the developmental packages? As root, command:
urpmi gcc
An Introduction to the Midnight Commander. You can install it by commanding:
urpmi mc

I'm assuming that you downloaded the rpm files instead of the iso's. If this is the case you can still install but you need to make a bootdisk and select to install from a hard drive.

As for making a bootdisk the images are at /pub/Mandrake/9.1/i586/images from the ftp site you are using. The file you need is hd.img and there are instructions at Mandrake for creating the bootdisk.
