making active windows appear as buttons in the 'taskbar' in fluxbox

Is there any way to make all windows, even the active ones, appear as buttons in the fluxbox taskbar, such as in the Gnome and KDE enviroments? I don't know bout anybody else, but I keep a lot of windows open at once and like to just click the button in the taskbar to make that one come active as opposed to scrolling thru the taskbar.

No, not that I know off...

But if you left click the workspace, you get a pop-up
menu that will allow you to see all the processes.

i'm using flux 0.9.8 and it does that automatically. are you using an older version of flux?

I do :)

0.1.14 + remember patch...

0.9.x sucks as far as I'm concerned. The lack of TAB's and
the fact that it doesn't put bullets besides the settings on
the remember menu. ;)

It doesn't do it automatically for me (it just puts them in the bar when you iconify/minimize them). Still, I've set that bar to hide and I don't really use it. I've just made multiple workspaces and set the keymappings so it's easy to switch between them. Then I can have a workspace for each program (almost), I can quickly (using the keyboard) switch between them, and for other things I use the functionality of the program to multitask (e.g. tabs in Firefox, and alt-tab to switch between windows when I have more than one in a workspace). Fluxbox is great! :)
