Making a link

I'm using RedHat9 and KDE what I want to do is make a link to a file that run's in wine so I can just double lick and the app will start running... how do I do this ??

eg. I'm using virc for my IRC how do I make an icon that I just click that will start running this program ??

[list=1][*]right click on desktop[*]select create new -> link to application[*]*dialogue box appears*[*]fill in the required fields[*]click OK.[*]Enjoy![/list=1]

I do all that

go in Ececute tab and enter in :

>>Command: wine "c:\program files\virc\vire.exe"
>>*then click* run in terminal

and all it does is open and close the termial not even allowing me to read what it says!

anyone ??? Like all I want to do is make a desktop icon let we have in windows, so I dont have to type the command in the termianl every time. My command line works when I type it in the terminal but when I try to make an icon to run it, it does not seem to work... like I said it just opens and exits out of the terminal befor I can even read what it says. HELP ??
