making a FTP account, fedora SSH counter strike server

Hi im using fedora 4 with SSH to connect... I was wondering how i can make a FTP username and password to the directory the server is in so i can upload maps and edit the server info without doing it in SSH.

I installed the server at /usr/steam/srcds_l

Have you tried scp? It copied files using ssh.

If you prefer an ftp server, the configuration depends heavily on the server software you use. Which one is it?
