Making a CD from an ISO, help please.
I have downloaded a 2.0 ISO file from Puppy Linux, made a CD and it works well EXCEPT that I cannot 'save' anything to it.
According to Puppy Linux, there is a way to burn the CD such that you can save some information to it. The program I used to burn with is K3b (Konqueror) and I cannot see anything related to this subject in this program UNLESS it would be: K3b > Tools > Burn CD image > Advanced > Start Multisession CD Why did I not post this to Puppy Linux, you ask? When I try to register for the Forum, I get the message, 'This URL not found on this browser' (and I've tried 2 browsers) so maybe they're re-configuring some stuff. Anyway, if someone would be good enough to give me some help here, I will really appreciate it. Lewis. ***** |

You need to make sure you downloaded the "multisession" iso and not the regular one. Then when you go to burn it, make sure to select multisession.

I tried a couple of places to download but didn't see the option you suggest. It was just 2.0, period. Is it possible you could direct me to where I might get the 'multisession' ISO file? Kind regards. Lewis. ***** |

Thanks you, this looks like a super resource. I guess I have to get an MP3 to be able to use it? Kind regards. Lewis. ***** |
Hi Limeylew
No you don't need to get an MP3 player to listen to a podcast. Just download the MP3 (or OGG) to your computer and listen to it from there |
