make_page command not found

Hi All,
At the command prompt I typed : make_page > page.html

and I got back the message : bash: make_page: command not found.
So I thought make_page is the command of Linux. If I don't have this command on my system then I can download this command for my system.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
JP

1) cd to the folder in which the make_page script is located.

2) ./make_page > page.html

The ./ tell bash to run the script 'in this directory'.

Hi jodie, Welcome to lq. I believe you've got a command confused with a shell script. Have a look here.
Good luck. ;-)

Thank a lot both bigrigdriver and peacedog.
Yes, I've got a command confused with a shell script.
Again thanks both of you.
