make menuconfig - No Device drivers option

Hi,

Running Ubuntu 14.04 x64

I'm building a linux kernel to use for a VirtualBox VM and want to add some network drivers. However when I run 'make menuconfig' from within the buildroot dir I cannot find the Device drivers option

This is want I see and I've gone through the sub menus on each.

Target options --->
Build options --->
Toolchain --->
System configuration --->
Kernel --->
Target packages --->
Filesystem images --->
Bootloaders --->
Host utilities --->
Legacy config options --->

any clues to what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Which options will be shown sometimes depend on other options being selected. My suggestion is to go into the code maturity level options and set them to ON. Those options affect which network driver options will be offered.
