Question Make MATE DE looke like GNOME2

so i got linux Mint with MATE and i wanted the top system,applications,places panel. i dont know how to cutomize MATE. i was only able to add the top panel using 'desktop settings'. i originally asked this question in the MATE forum but noone is there basically.. i also wanted the windows to maximize when i move it to the top and half when i move it to the side like in Ubuntu.

Hello hosa, I answered you in MATE forums less than 2 hours after you posted but you haven't been back since, and now you have started this post here after I replied to you there.
