Post Make Linux re-read inaccessable blocks from loop devices.

If I eject the live DVD/SD/USB Linux is running from, attempt opening Firefox (I/O error) and then re-insert the LiveDVD/SD/USB, and thentry opening Firefox, it still refuses despite having access to the medium again.

How do I enforce re-reading the unreadable sectors of the SquashFS loop device?

By DVD/SD/USB I assume this is a USB flash drive. No expert but I do not think it is possible. A live CD/DVD/USB can not be removed from the system unless it runs totally from RAM. I don't know of a any way to reattach the drive back to the same USB device number, loop device.
