Make HDMI work with Nvidia GeForce 8200 M and Anderson LED TV in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

When HDMI-cable is Connected between My Laptop which is HP Compaq Presario CQ60 and My Anderson LED TV, I get the massage "No Videosource". I use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with Nvidia GeForce 8200 M grafic card.How do I make it work step by step?

Have you tried the external monitor button on laptop?

I'll also note you'll likely have to change your audio settings to go out via HDMI rather than the laptop speakers.

yes, I like to view some films on tv through my computer

Connect the HDMI to the TV and follow the above instructions- do note my above post on switching the audio output. Post back here if you have any problems.
