make gconfig


alrite i'm trying to compile my kernel by I can't seem to find the mods i need for my readon 9800 pro, such as Agp gart. I have read forums saying to insure that this is selected, but I can't seem to find it in gconfig, where exacty is it, thank you for your time

This is for 2.6 series kernels but it is similar in 2.4 too:
Device drivers -> Character devices -> /dev/agpgart (AGP support)

I usually compile it as a module so I have the choice to use the built-in AGP driver in the graphics driver if I want to. You will probably also need support for your motherboard's chipset, those are the options just below /dev/agpgart support.
