Unhappy make: Command not found, Error 127. I'm on Redhat

I downloaded AMSN, and have installed it. But in the HELP file, it says that to use the "wish" command, I have to install tcl/tk correctly.
So I download and install it (I think) but in the README file in tcl8.3.1/unix says "Type 'make'." When I do that, the Konsole says:

cc -c -O -D__NO_STRING_INLINES -D__NO_MATH_INLINES -I./../generic -I. -DUSEGETWD=1 -DNO_STRERROR=1 -DNO_GETWD=1 -DNO_WAIT3=1 -DNO_UNAME=1 -DNO_REALPATH=1 -DNO_DIRENT_H=1 -DNO_ERRNO_H=1 -DNO_FLOAT_H=1 -DNO_VALUES_H=1 -DNO_LIMITS_H=1 -DNO_STDLIB_H=1 -DNO_STRING_H=1 -DNO_SYS_WAIT_H=1 -DNO_DLFCN_H=1 -DNO_FD_SET=1 -DTM_IN_SYS_TIME=1 -DNO_FSTATFS=1 -DNO_MEMMOVE=1 -DNO_STRING_H=1 -Dmode_t=int -Dpid_t=int -Dsize_t=unsigned -Duid_t=int -Dgid_t=int -DUSE_DIRENT2_H=1 -DNO_UNION_WAIT=1 -DNO_GETTOD=1 -DGETTOD_NOT_DECLARED=1 -DI18N_IMPROVE -DTCL_SHLIB_EXT=\"\" ./../generic/regcomp.c
make: cc: Command not found
make: *** [regcomp.o] Error 127

What is error 127? What should I do to fix the problem?

Fix the previous error
Quote:
make: cc: Command not found
first.

You need a C compiler to compile some C code, so install gcc first.

Also there is probably tcl/tk available as RPM in your package management system so you don't have to compile it from sources.
