mcs (mono-project) how to install --> source code
Hi,
i'm a complete newbie to the Linux scene. I download and install Debian Woody, upgraded it too Sarge install apache, MySQL, and Mono I installed mono with that pre-made installer, so not through source code. The Debian server has to support ASP pages so i have to install Mod_mono and xsp-1.0.9 The install file of XSP-1.0.9 said i had tar it, and than type ./configure so i did, and so far so good. Than it told me to type make and make install Debian told me these were unknown command. Anybody who wants to help me out?(configuring of ASP server is also welcome, complete newbie here :p) btw where is the file that contains the IP-adres of the Debian server? so i can change it Thnx in advance |
To install make just run: apt-get install make. U can find network settings in /etc/network/interfaces
|
Do 'man interfaces' for synopsis.
