make bootable usb from windows


Does windows have a tool to make bootable usb from iso?

The link below is one option. You can also download a version of unetbootin on windows. Both create a bootable usb of most/some Linux distributions. Pendrivelinux runs on windows, unetbootin has a version of windows. You don't say what type of iso you want, neither will work with a windows iso as far as I know but you are posting on a Linux forum so...

Depends on the way you want the usb to be created and also the type of ISO.

Tools like usbcreator and unetbootin.

Or use a raw writer. Suse image writer should work too.

DD for windows.

Maybe rawritewin still.

You may use Rufus Tool https://rufus.akeo.ie/

which is easy to use.

if the iso is a "hybrid" or live image

you can use the linux "dd" tool from a MinGW os running on windows
