Maintenance Mode

Hey guys,

I use CloudLinux which is based on CentOS.

Now recently I removed drive sdb1 from a VM. I then rebooted the box a few minutes ago. It takes me to Maintenance Mode.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Thanks

Well, it isn't but let's forget about that right now.

Unclear. Are you talking about a partition inside a VMDK (or equivalent container) or a physical device from the Host Node or what?

What exactly was /dev/sdb1 mapped to inside this VM and did you remove the device from /etc/fstab before rebooting?

Sorry I meant CentOS

Well I have my Linux VMs on HyperV. I removed the Virtual Disk which stored my sites backups.

Your last comment helped me out. I checked and saw it in /etc/fstab. Removed it and rebooted and all is working.

Thanks
