Mail Server Help please

I saw posts about mail server on linux. I know i need to read alot to understand it. I have Kerio Mailserver on my windows and it work stright away after installing it without much configuration. I like to have something like that on my CentOs box. but still couldnt figure out how. I have Router conected to ADSL network. all the computers are behind router. i have port 25 and 110 open for mail and linux box local ip address is configured for these. And i have registered for, which pointing to my router address. anyone can help please!!!

you need to do port forwarding on the router.
forward ports 25,110 to the linux box.

Sorry I didnt make myself clear enough. Yep , I already opened pop and smtp ports on router for linux box. I can send out email, which would say username@linuxboxname by smtp, by sendmail . what i need is emailserver, which has smtp and pop. also can create useraccount on mail server. these user account are nothing to do with linux box. then user can get their email with what ever client they have, such as outlook, or outlook express.
