mail server configuration using dovecot in rhel 4

I'm new on rhel 4 and I want to configure mail server using dovecot. But I don't know what other related file to configure for mail server.Plsea help me step by step
configuration details for new mail server on RHEL 4 .
Any sample configuration documents may help me.

there is heaps of information on my website using RHEL along with dovecot & setting up mail servers check out the following links.

Do a search on postfix, there will be articles there for you to follow
