Mail Problem

Well I'm having very funny problem. I'm using squirrelmail and having very funny problem. All my mail a/c are working fine except for one. When I see /var/spool/mail I find a file with .lock in my problematic mail id. Is it causing the problem?? Besides I'm not able to login using webmail also(only sometimes ,sometimes I can though).I use Outlook to get my mails and no new mails has been received however i can send mails regularly.Plz help me figure out...

you might have several imap clients trying to access the mailbox at the same time,
or a single client opening several simultaneous connections. mbox allows only one
connection because of its need to lock the file. if that's the problem, you try to
configure your mail clients to use a single connection, or, even better, switch to
