mail - "Kernel Errors Present"

Whenever I check the mail with the mail command on my Red Hat 9 machine, I have one message calling itself my LogWatch. This message always starts with something like the following.
Quote:

--------------------- Kernel Begin ------------------------

WARNING: Kernel Errors Present
hda: task_no_data_intr: error=0x04 { DriveStat...: 11Time(s)
hda: task_no_data_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }...: 1
1Time(s)
hdc: task_no_data_intr: error=0x04 { DriveStat...: 6Time(s)
hdc: task_no_data_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }...: 6
Time(s)

---------------------- Kernel End -------------------------
What does it mean? Do I have a problem? If so, what can I do about it?

Do you get this same error in dmesg when you start up *or* when shutting down? Does this only happen when you use "mail" or does it appear when you use other apps as well?

It's not that it "happens" when I use mail. It's the contents of a message that appears in my inbox, viewed when using mail.

I ran dmesg and I can't say as that I notice anything like it.

I don't see any problems when booting or shutting down.

I don't see this message appear when using any apps.
