what does the log tell you?

What are you using as your mail transport - likely options are sendmail or postfix

Hi,

could you do the following:

tail -f /var/log/maillog

open another console and type:

echo "test message" | mail -s 'test' <username>

where <username> is any valid user on your machine. copy output from the maillog and post to this thread

echo "test message" | mail -s 'test' <username>@yahoo.com

Could be any anonymous email account. copy output from the maillog and post to this thread

finally paste the output from the command:

mailq

Add two entries in the /etc/mail/local-host-names file:

jjhserv.jdubbhosting.org
mail.jdubbhosting.org

After that make sure that the user 'JacksonJT' exists in your /etc/passwd file.

Try sending yourself mail from your yahoo account to see if you receive it. Let me know if that worked.
