made a time mistake

heh i made a dumb mistake while installing slackware and choose the wrong time .. any way to fix it?

To change your time, look at the date command. However, your question seems to be concerning your timezone correct? If so, this is how:

1. cd /usr/share/zoneinfo
2. ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/<time zone you wish to have> /etc/localtime

I haven't done this in slackware, but I believe the files and paths are the same.

You can change this by running "timeconfig" as root.
