Macromedia Flash Player 7 problem
hi all,
I am trying to install macromedia flash player 7 on mandrake 10.1 and i get to the point where is asks me to enter the installation path of my browser (mozilla). I enter usr/lib/mozilla, which is the path and it says WARNING: Please enter a valid installation path. Im not sure what else the installation path could be. thanks for your help |
you don't really need to use the installer...
just put the libflashplayer.so and flashplayer.xpt files in your plugins directory... |
thanks a lot for the info

im brandy new to this i got mandrake 10.1 where is the plugins folder ?
is it when you goto settings on the browser then configure konqueror then plugins??????? im just tring to get the flash to work somehow |
i'm not sure about mandrake, but in slackware and in suse it's a hidden folder in your home directory. open up konqueror and navagate to your home folder, then click "view" and "show hidden files" and you should see a .mozilla folder. open that, and you'll see the plugins folder.

well i found the hidden files but theres no browser folder in there at all hmm im on the hunt
