mac powerbook g5 titanium install

Guys, im trying to install ANY version f linux on my silver g5 powerbook. it doesnt seem to work on any of them. i cannot get past the intstall. is there a rock solid version to install that definitely works on a mac p[owerbook g5 titanium? I would really appreciate your help.

I've never heard of f linux. Is it specfically designed for ppc architecture?

i think yellowdog only makes versions for ibm-powerpc cpu architecture. there are other distro that have x86/x86-64/ppc/arm/m68k/... versions as well.
