Mac image problem

I hate to bother you guys, I've tried every avenue to keep from making another thread, but I'm really beating my head against the wall with this.

I'm using an iMac to burn .iso files (or trying to).

I copied all the files (just the files, not .iso file) from a knoppix boot CD once a while back while I was messing around trying to get the mac to burn. I had no idea what I was doing, I was just randomly messing around. I can't recall exactly what I did.

If I try to burn any .iso files with any burning program, it just burns those knoppix files. I'm totally at a loss. If I open any .iso files with the "DiskImageMounter", it just shows those knoppix files.

I've tried everything. It still shows/burns every iso file with those same knoppix files, no matter what the distro.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I just found out I don't have sufficient privilliges to delete any knoppix any of the knoppix folders I found.

It appears that only versions of damnsmalllinux do that... very odd. A vector linux iso file does not burn those knoppix files.

i have seen this issue before when using DiskImageMounter method. one way around it is to use a software like toast from roxio. a free way to do it can be acheived with disc-o .
