Smile Lynx and Newsbeuter

I can't figure out why Newsbeuter opens Lynx on top of Newsbeuter when I already have Lynx open in another terminal. (This is using the 'o' option in Newsbeuter to open the link in a browser). It works if I use DWB as the browser.

Is it because Lynx runs in a terminal and it can't identify that it is already running?

Is there a way to get Lynx to be recognized as already open?

Thanks

Hi,

as far as I know lynx does not have this feature. Running the command lynx does not try to open pages in running instances of lynx, it simply launches a new instance in the current terminal.
