Lycoris on Dell PC 4600 series

Is it at all possible to install and run Lycoris on a 4600 series Dell PC? The website states that the 4600 is not compatible and doesn't work. I was wondering if that is the final say or if there is a way to make it run?

I'd say download a distro, burn the CDs and try installing it.

I didn't bother trying to find lists of compatible hardware and compare with what I had on my box at home. I downloaded a distro, made space for it on my HDD, and installed.

That's geeker for livin on the edge, I tell you!
