Wink Lycoris hangs on boot **please help**

Hi. I have a PC with Lycoris installed as a solo OS. It's been working wonderfully for a few months. Lately, it hangs while booting-on the peripherals section. Just the basics as far as peripherals go (keyboard, mouse and printer) Nothing new has been installed recently. The system just hangs, no HDD light is on, it goes into limbo. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks.

is there a particular step the bootup fails on? if not are you running the bootup in verbose mode? when your boot loader prompts you for an option, pick the one that shows the most info.
