Lycoris Driver compile help

Im trying to install my SoundBlaster Augigy player in lycoris because it didn't pick it up. I've downloaded the driver from creative & in the installation instructions it says to type "make" followed by "make install". When i type either of these it says that "make" isn't a valid command or filename. Whats going on ?
