Question lvm unmounted...?

In GParted, my lvm partition is listed as being unmounted, yet obviously i'm saving files onto it, since i'm running Fedora on my HD right now. Should I attempt to mount this drive using Gparted or what?

I don't use gparted but if you do: lvscan as root you can see if the logical volumes are active, then do a df and see if the corrosponding lvol is mounted to a mount point

I just downloaded gparted and mine shows unmounted as well -- just because it reads the pv differently, pay no attention to it ... use lvscan, pvscan, and vgscan to find out the status of your LVM - gparted I have only used in Knoppix to reformat a drive, not sure why you would use it for daily sysAdmin type of maintenance ... it is dangerous, I wouldn't use it for monitoring.
