Question lunix commands from windows

Is there a way from a Windows PC (I know.. I know...) to execute code on a Linux box.

For example have a script (vbs/asp) running on/from a windows box connect to Linux host via a ssh style connection. Execute a bash script and possibly get a return set of results from the bash script and either display them or collect them.

Thanks in advance!
