lt winmodem - fedora core 2 - kv2.6.5-1

I recently installed fedora core 2, kv2.6.5-1 and I'm new to Linux.

I have looked at guides and downloaded drivers. I haven't found enough information.

I'm trying to find a comprehensive lt winmodem driver installation guide, one click installation or any help will be much appreciated.

Hello Warpcore,

You are in for some sleeples nights , as the modem already tells you it is a Windows modem.

But you have the best chance to get your modem working by visiting

If you need it to work within some time I can advice to buy a modem that works with Linux.

With kind regards,

Or better go for ADSL (
