Question LS-120 Super Disk Drive

I just recently installed Red Hat 7.3 on a ~3 yr. machine that has a LS-120 as its floppy drive.

Linux recognizes it as a LS-120 in the fstab file as hdb. Linux uses the drive only in the 120 Mbyte mode. It does not read or recognize 2 Mbyte floppies. I have seen postings that suggest adding a line like

/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noautor, owner 0 0

Good Move?

Right Move?

Better Move?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My ls-120 reads regular floppies fine in SuSE 7.3.My fstab listing is:

Code:
 /dev/hdd /media/ls auto,noauto,user 0 0
/media/ls is the directory I created as a mount point, and yours should be different.Somthing like(and I'm just guessing):

Code:
 /dev/hdb /mnt/ls-120 auto,noauto,user 0 0
HTH
