lpr is BSD LPD system. and lp?

BSD LPD use:
-lpr
-lprm
-lpq
-lpc

System V LPD use:
-lp
-lpstart

My questions is:

LPRng is one system "BSD LPD" or "System V LPD"?

thanks in advance
