lpic1

Hello,
does anyone know of any gratis mock test sites available for the lpic1 test as it is very difficault to find what level of knowledge they require for this? 'Detailed objectives' not withstanding.

Fred.

i see 493,000 google hits for "lpic1"
including things like these flash cards
http://www.kedens.com/lpic1/flashcards.html
-- just a random pick

or
http://ebookee.org/CBT-Nuggets-LPI-L...2_1576265.html

then there is the 20,600 hits for
"lpic-1 practice exam"
and the very first hit

John VV,
yes there are lots of hits and most peddling old tests/info (pre 2012) this would be fine if they are gratis but often they are not.
The 'nuggets' thing is a .exe affair.
The official lpic site suggests you can use 'praxis', this is now defunct- at least from the UK- so why include it? The 'Penguin Tutor' at the same site seems to be pitched at 'Linux Essentials' and so of little use.
The IBM developer-works stuff is much better but hard to tell which are spaces and which are not, still not a mock exam.
The man pages are great but you still have to join the dots and how do you know what went wrong?

Fred.
