Low Disk space
 

I installed Ubuntu 11.04 on my laptop but i already had windows 7 home basic on it. I installed it alongside windows. Now, i have 3 windows partitions one of 200GB, the other 20GB which is the windows partition and another of 14GB on which I have put my Ubuntu 11.04 installation. The problem is now I get a message saying I have only 108MB free space. When I check on windows I have 1GB free space on my windows partition and 9GB free space on the Ubuntu Partition. How can I resolve this problem? Thanx 4 ur help

What hasn't helped you yet. You were asked to post information so that someone could help with your problem and you haven't done it.
Is this a wubi install inside windows?
Your first post doesn't make much sense. You say you have three windows partitions and you put Ubuntu on one. Is this a wubi install inside windows? If you have Ubuntu on a separate partition it won't be a windows formatted partition as that won't work.

If you haven't resolved this problem, the first step in getting help would be to post the information requested by markush.

The 2 commands suggested by markush are to help determine what's full & where you can take the additional space from, after posting the requested outputs, you'll find that there will be other suggestions as to how to proceed.

Is this a wubi installation?
It shows 15G but not on own partition.
Are you concerned with low disk space in linux, if so it's / showing only 1% available.

and yeah am concerned with the low disk space

I apologize the 1 wubi installation that I had I lost the whole disk.
So I couldn't possibly give any advice on it.
Grub has been much simpler for me.
