Well, worst case is I sync the shutter speed and shoot the monitor directly. Those problems can be solved. Perhaps the question of whether this is the right time for something like that is the better one to consider.

I agree about it being simple and inuitivie to use, but consider the average user. Not to sound snobby, but there may never be an operating system simple enough for the general public. If they can still make money selling How To Use Windows CD's, I'm thinking there's going to be a market for Linux training for quite a while.

Still I'll leave the idea on the table. I've got the gear and support systems to do it.
