lost the use of 'update manager' on 9.04
 

First it complained that I was missing PUBKEY 3EE67F3D0FF4O5B2, then it stopped working altogether. Not sure what to do about this, did try 'autoclean'. Obviously I've done something should n't, perhaps mixing Debian packages did n't help but want to keep some to play cd's, wont go into reason, long story. Any ideas?

When you run it from a terminal, what output is produced?
Mine broke a little while back, but seemed to fix itself by the time I got round to poking into it.

Though it sounds like a more general problem, how successful are

thanks will try that when I put that HD back on (main one) but has not gone away mysteriously.
