Lost Shortcuts in "K" menu

While trying to change things is the Menu Editor, I have somehow lost all of my shortcuts. I still have all the same shortcuts in my root accout, is there a way to copy them to my regular account? Where are the files?

Code:
MEPIS Linux
KDE 3.2.3

Log as root, go to your normal user's home (/home/bad_bob) and remove the dir .kde or rename it to, say, .kde.old. When you login as this user again, kde will build a new default desktop for you.

I tried that, it did rebuild my desktop, but not my Applications Menu, in fact the one I had before still showed. It must be stored somewhere else, anybody know?
