Lost RH 9 after installing WINXP

I thought this had been addressed before, but I was unable to find it anywhere:

I had a dual boot system (WinXP and RH 9 on two seperate HDD) but I came up with a GRUB error that forced me to format my WIN drive.

After successfully reinstalling WinXP, my second HDD which contained Linux is now missing.

The RH install disk does not even detect it as a Linux partition.

Any suggestions?

boot your computer from cdrom with your rh9.0 cd1 inside, and type "linux rescue" when it is asked.
after choosed several options about your keyboard and network , you will get a shell. And now use the grub command to restore your grub.
