Angry Lost printing ability

I installed Mandrake Linux v8.0 several months ago. During the install I successfully installed my HP Deskjet 932c (USB) and it worked fine. About a month ago I tried to print something from KWord, then the Internet and I was not able to do so.

Everything regarding the printer appears to be in order and I have even gone through the hardware setup routine to reconfigure the printer installation but I still cannot print. I receive a message that says something like "You don't have a printer configure." I am at a loss. I really don't want to re-install linux to get this problem fixed.

Please help.

Try updating CUPS, the one shipped with drake 8.0 is about three versions old by now, and the latest version (1.1.14) has a fix for a nasty buffer overrun.
