buddy me too not clear with your that files inside /boot. And moreover i'm not sure with "sda" it SATA or USB drive ???

search for the relevent files inside /boot .....i.e which one should be inserted in the grub.conf.
One more thing....that highlighted line "root = LABEL=/" should be changed to exact path like.....root=LABEL=/dev/hdax.....otherwise it creates problem while dual/triple booting your machine.

Hope you will come up with that information and we will then proceed further...
