looking for yum repo for redhat enterprise 4

Where can i find a redhat el4 repository for yum?
I use dag and dries, but does not look like it has all the software I need. For example, I am looking for xen, but they do not have it.

Xen is probably in the base. You may need to investigate CentOS repos since it sounds like you don't have a subscription to RH.

Have a look at www.centos.org and see what they tell you about setting up their repos

I added the following into /etc/yum.conf ( from http://wiki.garylaw.net/doku.php?id=...unix:linux:yum
) but it does not seem to work. Do I have to modify anything else?

[base]
name=CentOS-$releasever - Base
baseurl=http://www.sunsite.org.uk/sites/msync.centos.org/CentOS/$releasever/os/$basearch/
gpgcheck=1

#released updates
[update]
name=CentOS-$releasever - Updates
baseurl=http://www.sunsite.org.uk/sites/msync.centos.org/CentOS/$releasever/updates/$basearch/
gpgcheck=1

#packages used/produced in the build but not released
[addons]
name=CentOS-$releasever - Addons
baseurl=http://www.sunsite.org.uk/sites/msync.centos.org/CentOS/$releasever/addons/$basearch/
gpgcheck=1

#additional packages that may be useful
[extras]
name=CentOS-$releasever - Extras
baseurl=http://www.sunsite.org.uk/sites/msync.centos.org/CentOS/$releasever/extras/$basearch/
gpgcheck=1
