Looking for User Friendly Linux Distro for P2 Toughbook!

Hello!

I'm new to Linux and I have an old CF-27 Pentium 2 Toughbook that'd I'd like to try out Linux on. I'm looking for something that is user friendly and that'll run well. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Give us some details: CPU, RAM, and HDD size, then we can make some suggestions.

The processor is a 300Mhz and the ram is 288MB. The size of the installation doesn't really matter to me because I can throw 20GB or 40GB hard drive in the machine. Thanks!

with that amount of memory id look at Puppy linux..and do a full install instead of a frugal..or Vector..
http://vectorlinux.com/
Standard Edition: Pentium 200 or better, 96MB RAM, 2.1GB hard drive space for system only, more for your data.

Light Edition: Pentium 166 or better, 64MB RAM minimum, 1.8GB hard drive space for full system - more for your data.
