looking for that kubuntu linux clock screen saver, but I am on gnome, what are my options.

Running mint linux today, but I still love that old kubunto linux clock screensaver because it turned my screen into a clock when I wasn't using it as a computer, never saw it in gnome though. Any ideas for an old man like me.

Maybe there's a package with additional screensavers you can install?
Maybe one of your existing screensavers has the option to look like that? In other words, check the settings.
Maybe Gnome screensaver is too limited and you should switch to Xscreensaver?
It's hard to be more definite if all we have is a screenshot of a clock...

I got cairoclock sreensaver instead, but the background is now transparent plus it is not a digital clock and no a round clock face that is I want.
How to I change the transparency of a screensever?

The default screensaver in Mint Cinnamon is a clock; choose the font, font-size and custom time/date formats
Is that what you're looking for?
