Looking for good book on writing Linux drivers

I was wondering If anyone could recommend a good book on writing Linux drivers? I have "Linux Device Drivers" by O'Reilly, but it gets a little confusing. Hopefully something like SAM's "Learn C in 21 days", with various sample programs and projects at the end of the chapters? Thanks in advance. :newbie:

You have the O'Reilly book (I assume the one by Greg Kroah-Hartmann). That it the one that gets cited most often.

What does "linux device drivers" in Google find?

Google search brings up references to the O'Reilly book, (written by Corbett, Alissandro, et al) second and third editions. I was hoping for something to supplement and/or explain the material in more detail.

Do you have said book? does it have a bibliography?

Here you can find an index of books regarding kernel programming and device drivers. Some books are online; some not.
