Have A Acer C720 Chomebook With An Upgraded SSD 128GB, Run Ubuntu Threw Cruton But Dont Know To Much

Have Legacy Boot And Really Into Messing Around

Looking For A Bootable Virtual Machine OS, What I Mean Is A Small Operating System With Enough To Support Hardware And Qemu Or Better Installation, Size Dose'nt Matter And Hopefully Something Already Put Together But I Can Understand Instructons

I Once Found A Tinycore Iso That Was Bootable And Booted Straight Into A Partition-er - A Bootable Partition-er And All Around Bootable Disk Management Os..... I Love The Idea Of Bootable Software, It Was Only Like 40+ Megs

Ive Looked All Around Google And Couldent Find Anything

Tried To Make one Myself And Cant Understand How To Put Together Something Like That

Even Just A Terminal That Boots Qemu With The Right Command Or Something That Compares To A Bootable Tinycore Program

Antix is a live/installable distro, a bit bigger than TC, but easier to get to grips with as it is based on Debian, with all the benefits that brings. You can install qemu & then remaster it, if that is what you want.

I Was Messing Around Last Night And Got CorePlus To Boot, Trying To Get Qemu Threw It But Then Realized Theirs No Track Pad And The Ubuntu I Use Is Made Specifically With Drivers For Acer C720, I Was Hoping For A Small Distro More Like You Boot, And Its Just A Virtual Machine/PC Emulator, But IDK With The Drivers Needed....

Thanx For The Help, Yeah I Have Even Done Ubuntu Native, And Have A Copy With C720 Drivers But I Was Looking For Something Tiny Simple, But Also It Has To Work With My Chromebook..... So That Might Be The Answer Ill Keep Messing Around, But I Wouldnt Know Anything About Building, Or Mastering, But Im Willing To Learn

Anymore Ideas And Help Would Be Appreciated - Now Also Looking For TinyCore - CorePlus C720 Drivers Or Premade ISO

Yeah, Ive Used Quite A Few, But Don't Understand All Of The Smaller Linux Distros, But I still Would Definitely Need Drivers for The C720 And Still Haven't Found Any While Searching... There Even Is A Bohdi Linux With C720 Drivers But Idk About The UI, And How To Make That Work For Speed And User Ability With A VM/PE

Id Really Like TinyCore Or CorePlus With C720 Drivers But Still Can't Find Any And Would Have No Idea On How To Get Them...

Maybe Theres No Point I Feel Like While Looking For The Drivers, But Ive Got Ubuntu Off Usb, On Hard Disk And Threw Cruoton With Qemu And Any Os Id Like, With Drivers, It Just Seems Like Alot For What Im Looking For And Its Seems Like It Uses Quite A Bit Compared To Minimal Distros That Would Be Blazing Fast

Two issues. One is host OS, you'd need to get that fully supported for the real hardware. As for the vm it is normally all virtual to the client.

You shouldn't have to look for drivers.
The distribution that you install on your HDD should already have the modules/drivers that come with the Linux Kernel.
