looking for a bash for absolute beginners guide

On another forum i frequent i am repetedly solving errors using cygwins (very usefull) bash shell for windows.
with users trying to compile the nightlys of a game.

waht i cant seem to find anyware (via googleing anyway) is a simple bash guide that deals with how the command line actually works and introduces a few very basic commands like
ls, cd pwd etc..

anyone know of a good guide for utter newbies?
