Long filename access question

How do I enter Windows style long filenames (i.e. with spaces) as command line arguments in linux.
For example, I'm trying to use mpg123 to play mp3s and when I try:
'mpg123 a long filename.mp3'
it only looks for the 'a'...what is the syntax for inputting these long names?

trying to take advantage of the tab completion in your shell..i know bash has them not sure about the rest since i haven't used them yet..

type in just part of the filename and press [tab] and it will just fill out the rest for you...but if you hear a beep and nothing shows up then there are either no filename consisting of what you specified in the prompt or there are more than one match..then just press tab twice then you will get a list of possible file names if latter is the case
