logitech mx duo booting probs

ok well i have a logitech mx duo, and the mouse n keyboard work fine once i boot, lol. i need to plug in an other keyboard to choose what to boot on, it wont recognize my wireless keyboard at boot. y? And also my mouse works, but i cant use the scroll button or any of the side ones (i just want the scroll).
